Easter Broomhouse Farm is just South of the A1, South-west of Broxburn, East Lothian, and just to the North-east of Doon Hill, which has various Bronze Age features, including a hillfort. In the field immediately to the South-west of the farm, there is a single standing stone with three cup-marks on its West face.

Like the standing stones at Traprain Law and Pencraig, the Broomhouse stone is pointed, and basically rectangular in cross-section, and roughly aligned with the points of the compass.

The grooves on the base of the stone are evidence of agricultural damage.
