The Kirklandhill Stone lies immediately to the East of the A198 on the North side of the A1 between East Linton and Dunbar. This standing stone is a little around ten feet high and is of a vaguely square cross-section. Along with the nearby stones at Pencraig, Standingstone Farm, and the Loth Stane, it appears to conform to a specific local type not generally found that far from Traprain Law, which suggests an aesthetic local to the area.

Kirklandhill Stone
Unfortunately, when we first visited the site, East Lothian was under a thick North Sea haar, and the crop-field which the stone is located in was nearing harvest, and thus inacessible.
