The single standing stone on the Cammo Estate lies East of Edinburgh, South-west of Cramond Bridge, and East of the Catstane. Click here for a location map provided by StreetMap. Click here for an arial photograph provided by Multimap.
The Cammo Stane is similar in shape and style to the nearby Catstane, but is larger, and without any inscribed markings.

At some point in recent history, this stone has had a large metal hook driven into its East face, of uncertain purpose. Three other smaller stones nearby (East) also have hooks driven into them, but which specifically suggest their use in fencing of some kind.
