Easter Broomhouse Farm is just South of the A1, South-west of Broxburn, East Lothian, and just to the North-east of Doon Hill, which has various Bronze Age features, including a hillfort. Click here for a location map provided by StreetMap.
In the field immediately to the South-west of the farm, there is a single standing stone with three cup-marks on its West face.

The stone is of red sandstone, and stands around nine feet high.

Like the standing stones at Traprain Law and Pencraig, the Broomhouse stone is pointed, and basically rectangular in cross-section, and roughly aligned with the points of the compass.

The grooves on the base of the stone are evidence of agricultural damage.
