This standing stone is located in a small wood on the South side of the Dalmahoy Golf Club, to the North-east of the hillforts on Dalmahoy Hill and Kaimes Hill. Click here for a location map provided by StreetMap.
The stone measures some 5 feet in height and is approximately 2 x 3 feet in width. As can be seen from the photographs, it has an odd texture, almost having the appearance of concrete on three of its sides.

Other stones are said to have existed in the immediate locale, including a cup-and-ring-marked rock to the South-east, but no trace of that site can now be found.
